A celebration of innovation & entrepreneurship
New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW) presented by JPMorgan Chase & Co. is a weeklong series of events celebrating business, innovation, and entrepreneurship in New Orleans. Produced by The Idea Village in partnership with Solomon Group, NOEW features speakers, pitch competitions, networking events, panel discussions and more to support innovative and entrepreneurial thinking in the region.
Connect in a city like no other
This year, NOEW is expanding its partner pitch competitions and events to take place in locations across the city, making the event a citywide affair that’s more accessible and engaging for people in several neighborhoods in the Greater New Orleans region—and offering locals a better opportunity to participate near where they work or live.
NOEW partners will host events from March 19-21, and NOEW’s onsite business programming, this year called the NOEW Summit, will take place March 22-23 at the Contemporary Arts Center and The Shop at the CAC shared workplace. Comprised of curated, targeted programming Thursday and Friday, the NOEW Summit is focused on company founders and people interested in learning the latest of what’s happening in entrepreneurship and innovation.
How we got here
New Orleans Entrepreneur Week began in 2009 as the “IDEAcorps Challenge,” an Idea Village program to engage MBAs and corporate volunteers from across the country. Since then, NOEW has evolved into an annual festival and serves as a platform for the New Orleans entrepreneurial ecosystem as a whole. This year marks NOEW's 10th anniversary.
