Ochsner Innovation Stage
A career in hospitality puts you in one of the world’s fastest-growing sectors. Worldwide, the travel and tourism industry alone generates more than $7.6 trillion annually, outpacing the global economy for seven consecutive years and supporting one in 10 jobs on the planet. With our home in New Orleans, a top tourist destination with a reputation as an entrepreneurial hub, the A. B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University has recently launched a new program in Entrepreneurial Hospitality, which prepares students to address the new emphasis on customer service in traditional hospitality industries and beyond. On this panel, New Orleans’ long history of hospitality and Freeman’s strength in entrepreneurship come together for a discussion about how to develop distinctive, market-relevant and high-value skills.
