Square proudly presents this screening of Sister Hearts.

Square believes in an economy that has room for everyone’s dreams. SisterHearts, is the fourth film in Square’s For Every Kind of Dream series, which documents the dreams of small business owners in America. The businesses and entrepreneurs’ stories we feature speak to a fundamental belief that underlies our work: that dreams can be achieved when we empower people with access to the right tools.

About the film:

“When I got out of prison, they wouldn’t allow me to open a bank account. I could not rent an apartment. I could not get a job. So I started selling stuff out of a suitcase on the street corner. Three years later, I have a 15,000 square foot thrift store and transition housing facility for other female ex-offenders. And I call those women my Sister Hearts.” - Maryam Henderson-Uloho.
