Biography

Chris Meaux is the founder and CEO of Nasdaq listed company Waitr Holdings Inc. (WTRH), the online ordering and food delivery platform. Waitr has become one of the most popular services connecting restaurants with their customers through an easy-to-use app nationwide. The company recently announced the acquisition of Minnesota-based Bite Squad, which has expanded Waitr from its Louisiana home into more than 500 cities across 22 states with more than 17,000 restaurant partners, 700 corporate employees and 14,000 drivers.

Meaux is a serial entrepreneur and an active member of the Louisiana entrepreneurship and tech community, and he enjoys working with entrepreneurs in the hopes of finding the next Waitr in Louisiana. He is a trustee for the Lafayette Public Innovation Alliance, a member of the 2017 and 2018 Silicon Bayou 100, recipient of the 2017 Jr. Achievement Startup Business of the Year, recipient of the 2018 ACG Emerging Growth Company and a finalist for the 2017 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. He was born in Crowley, La., and currently resides in Lafayette with his wife, Missy. They have two grown children Logan and Mekensie; a granddaughter, Violet; and are expecting a grandson in June.
