Elizabeth K. Weymouth is the Managing Partner of Plimsoll Partners LLC, a direct investment and merchant banking platform. For ten years prior to forming Plimsoll Partners LLC, Elizabeth was a Partner of Riverstone Holdings, a $34 billion private investment firm focused on growth capital investments in the energy industry.Before joining Riverstone, Elizabeth was a Managing Director at the J.P. Morgan Private Bank and Head of Investments for the U.S. Northeast region, the largest investment business within the Private Bank. Elizabeth earned her B.A. from the University of Virginia and her M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business. Elizabeth was named a Trustee of the Darden School Foundation in 2007, and currently serves as the Chair of the Darden School Foundation Board until July 2019, following her service as Vice Chair of the Board and Chair of both the Investment and Engagement Committees. In addition, Elizabeth was a member of the Board of Governors of the Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, La. from 2010 to 2013, where she chaired the Investment Committee.
Elizabeth is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations. In 2007, Elizabeth was recognized as one of Crain’s New York Business’ “Forty Under 40,” and in 2008, Diversity MBA Magazine named her one of the “Top 100 Under 50 Diverse Executives” globally. Elizabeth has been a member of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women community since 2011. In 2014, she became a member of Dialog, a group of 150 global leaders founded by Peter Thiel and Auren Hoffman. In addition, Elizabeth has been featured in articles in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Financial Times, LEADERS Magazine and Crain’s Magazine. Elizabeth resides in New York City with her husband, Philip, and their three sons.
