Linda Usdin’s career focuses on facilitating/promoting large-scale community-driven change. Since 2005, she has helped match strategic interests of philanthropic organizations with needs/capacity of communities, non-profits and governmental agencies. She has advised the Ford, Annie E. Casey, Open Society, Conrad N. Hilton, Louisiana Disaster Recovery, and Greater New Orleans foundations
Dr. Usdin founded several social justice organizations, and in 2012, was awarded a Bellagio residency from Rockefeller Foundation. She has served on an advisory committee for the National Academies Institute of Medicine, is Chair of the Board of Propeller: A Force for Social Innovation, and on the Board of the Louisiana Public Health Institute.
