Magdalene is a Venture for America Fellow from Houston, Texas. She graduated from Howard University in 2015 with a degree in Systems and Computer Science. Her passion for technology and education has led her to become a web development intern at NASA, conduct nuclear physics research for the NNSA, and study in Chile and the Philippines for the Global Education and Awareness Undergraduate Research Program.
Magdalene is passionate about creating opportunities for minority youth to gain access to education in software development at a young age. This has led her to tutor and mentor middle and high school students in Washington, DC and her current position at Operation Spark.
