Taylor Beery is a President of Lapeyre Stair, a construction products manufacturer that specializes in large scale pre-engineered steel egress stairs, and stair systems, as well as innovative alternating tread stairs.

Prior to Lapeyre Stair, Beery was principal of Beery Advisors, a financial advisory firm specializing in the energy services industry. Beery Advisors provides innovative quantitative and qualitative services including: acquisition strategy, screening, due diligence and merger integration; strategic planning, performance tracking and financial operations oversight; restructuring and divestitures.

Previously, Beery advised International Offshore Services (IOS), a Platinum Equity energy services portfolio company, operating 49 offshore supply/utility vessels and 3 offshore construction barges in the Gulf of Mexico.

After leading an annual budget and strategic planning process, Beery assumed the role of Interim Chief Financial Officer to oversee the day-to-day financial operation and financial components of the restructuring and eventual sale of the IOS assets to two separate strategic acquirers.

From 2008-2012 Beery started, managed and sold 3 businesses in energy services, financial services and software (including VoteIt, a competitor in the Idea Village Entrepreneur Week Coulter Challenge). Beery was also a Vice President with the Frantzen, Voelker and Conway family office and a political appointee to the George W. Bush Administration.

From 2005-2008 Beery served as the senior policy advisor to the “Katrina Czar,” Donald Powell, for all federal efforts to rebuild the Gulf Coast following the hurricanes of 2005.

Beery began his career as a financial analyst with Salomon Smith Barney, in the Global Power & Energy and Financial Sponsors groups, from 2001-2004. Beery graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Economics in 2001.

Beery resides in New Orleans, Louisiana, with his wife and three children.
